Negotiations at Makerere University are beginning to take shape after weeks of stand-off between the University council and Lecturers who are demanding for a 100% salary increment. The university council sitting on Tuesday resolved to institute a committee to analyse and cut the excess expenditure of the university to raise a wage bill for the lecturers.
