Makerere University management split the M6 salary scale to create M6.1 and M6.2, a thing that didnt go down well with more than 500 assistant lecturers. The lecturers have been piling pressure on the university to address the salary disparities prompting Prof. Nawangwe to write to the Public Service Ministry Permanent Secretary for clarification.
