Last week, Kyambogo University reported that the e-campus system that houses students’ data was deleted and is yet to be retrieved. The university website was taken offline before being restored after.
Onesmus Oyesigye, the Executive Secretary UBTEB, says the trend has led to the self–exclusion of some training institutions from the board assessment.
On Friday, the members of the Guild and the University Council held a meeting on the matter. Professor Barnabas Nawangwe, the University Vice-Chancellor, says that the council heeded the request of the students and the increment has been suspended for the next two years.
