Ongalo, with the help of some parents, locked the office of the headteacher, Catherine Annet Eunyu on Monday. Ongalo faults Eunyu for misconduct including absenteeism, mismanagement of UPE funds, and arrogance.
Kaberamaido Technical Institute was established in 1984 and sits on a 58- acre land. The school, with an enrolment of 237 students has been operating under difficult conditions due to inadequate structural space and tools for training.

Two suspects have been arrested in connection to the murder of Raymond Epilu, the head teacher of Kaburepoli Primary school in Ochero Sub County, Kaberamaido district. The Police identified the suspects as Joseph Oule, the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) chairperson at the school and his nephew Simon Okiring. The duo is suspected to have killed Epilu before hanging his body inside his house at the teachers’ quarters.
