The landslide affected 139 households with a population of 695 people. Of these, 278 are children under 5 years. The most hit villages are; Lwanda, Malandu, Namalira, Nyekhe, and Shitikho.
The grant will go towards the development of new bankable climate change adaptation and mitigation projects in view of achieving the national Climate change goals identified under the Nationally Determine Contributions NDCs.
