Michael Lakony Amuru district LCV Chairperson says the roads that shall be rehabilitated include Pabo town council to Otoro kume, Parabongo to Guru-guru, Amoyo kuma to Bol Atero and Moroli to Pacilo.
In 1993, UWA demarcated the park and found that the Beneti people were settling on 7,500 hectares of land instead of the 6,000 hectares which had been allocated to them. Over 6,000 people were rendered landless and are now living in camps of Kisitu, Kwoti, Lwanda, Kisangani, Cheberen, Titim and Teriet.
