According to Ogwang, the money will be used to furnish the office, finance the physical planning and urban system development, specialised technical plan and equipment, assess comparative advantages of localities and development of investment profiles.
However, the Municipality is expected to receive an overall total of 34 billion shillings under the 3 years project that will end in the Financial Year 2021/2022
The money, according to the Chief Administrative Officer Charles Komakech Olubo will be used for field visits, monitoring the movement of the desert locusts, community sensitization and enhancing reporting mechanisms.
Moses Dalili, the Karenga Chief Administrative Officer, says the construction will go on as planned until a court order is issued stopping the works. He says Karenga district was created by the parliament and the district was cleared to establish headquarters within the contested area.
