The Ministry of Health directed the district to expand the facility, currently situated on 1.5 acres of land, in compliance with a presidential commitment made during the 2011 general elections to upgrade the health center.
Alfred Ombaga, the head teacher of Paceru primary school says that following last month’s disaster, teaching and learning have been greatly affected, especially during the current rainy season in which lessons often end prematurely as teachers and pupils run in disarray to seek shelter in other classrooms.
