Reports indicate that Byaruhanga had earlier called Omara who was dragged to Kwania Central Police Station (CPS) for assault demanding the money to “handle” the matter and “stop it from getting to court.”
Dickens Ogwang, based at the 4th Division Barrack in Gulu was arrested on Thursday from Adyeda trading center in Aduku town council and whisked to Kwania Police Station where he is currently being detained.
LCI Chairpersons have been warned against holding suspects in their custody but to always send them to police for safe custody in order to avoid such incidents.

Geoffrey Okwanga, a resident of Aculawic Village says that he has lost valuable items to thieves that have been terrorizing the area for the last 20-years. He said he is ready to give out some land to pave way for the construction of a police post.
Denis Ogola, the father of the deceased, says his son attempted to commit suicide two times on grounds that he was not given cattle and money for dowry.
According to reports, Opong returned from a drinking joint in a nearby trading center at around 9:00pm on Sunday and started assaulting his wife using a panga, leaving her in a critical state before he took off.

The suspects are Robert Obia, Joshua Ogwal, Keren Ayugi, Better Amongi and Jaspher Oloro all from Abwongdani Village. Others are Jimmy Okoi from Atimnadi Village, Jimmy Odongo and Wilfred Nyero all from Baronger Village,Abwong parish, Abongomola Sub County.
