According to Twine, suspects are mostly foreigners from the Democratic Republic of Congo-DRC (5), Cameroon, (2) Nigerians and (1) Ugandan. The Congolese came to Uganda as refugees. During the operation, police also recovered brass rods, powder and fake gold and different oils.
The Electoral Commission Spokesperson, Paul Bukenya, said they have no business with investigations being done by a recognized agency like CID. Bukenya adds that DR forms are public documents that can be used by any person at any time.

Grace Nachap, one of the residents says security personnel forced her into the coldness together with her child. Moses Twakiire, an eye witness says that it all started when Gaudesia Bamwangiraki made an alarm around 9:00 AM about the disappearance of his cow.
