Two suspected most wanted Kampala based conmen have been arrested in Lira town. Security operatives arrested Andrew Alisa, 36, a resident of Kireka suburb- Kampala and Badru Ssekabanda on Wednesday evening.
Police in Pader district have arrested Dr. Alex Olwedo, the District Health Officer over missing funds meant for Primary Health Care. The funds were meant to finance activities in Porogali Health center II in Latanya Sub County.
The body of a suspect who died in police custody last night has been taken to Soroti Regional Referral hospital mortuary. The suspect was found dead at about 7pm in Kengere Police Post cells. The police post is located in Eastern Division, in Soroti Municipality.
