According to Ngabirano, during the inspection, Yesiime failed to account for more than 500 HIV testing kits delivered to the facility. He explained that the number of people tested at the facility is far less to the missing kits.
Police in Mitooma district have arrested a teacher attached to Nyakahita Primary school in Mutaara Sub County for alleged defilement. John Bosco Arinaitwe was picked up this week after primary seven leaver at Nyakahita primary school reported to police that she was carrying his child. The victim is aged 14 years.
Henry Mugarura, the Mitooma District Police Commander, says the protesters stormed the offices at around 9:30am hunting for the chairperson but he was away in Kampala for a meeting.
