Edina Nyinereza, the officer in charge of Masindi central police station told Uganda Radio Network that police got a tip off by area residents that the pastor was still conducting prayers and allowing many of his believers to access her church despite a presidential directive that banned religious gatherings as one of the ways of curtailing the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
