Decolus Kiiza, the FUFA Deputy CEO in charge of Football says that players have either received their first COVID-19 jab while others are fully vaccinated in a bid to limit the spread of the virus.

The development comes after requests from different clubs asking FUFA for permission to use some of their young players in the top League.

The round of 16 games will be played between 1st May and 6th May 2021 on a home and away basis.

This year’s edition of the women league will however be played in a tournament format. It will comprise ten teams divided into two groups in the normal season.

A team of officials led by the FUFA Deputy CEO-Football, Decolas Kiiza, Club Licensing Manager, Ivan Kintu Bayige and Uganda Beach Soccer Association-UBSA Vice President, Peter Seguya revealed this shortly after touring the facility on Wednesday.
