Norbert Mao, the DP President told URN that there have been ongoing talks between him and the FDC structure in Gulu over his candidature for the Gulu Municipality MP seat.
At least six people had declared interest in the seat now held by FDCs Betty Aol Ochan. They include Catherine Lamwaka, Grace Atim Oleyowiya, Joyce Alima, Harriet Aber, Rose Nyapolo and Sharon Laker Balmoi.
