Since mid-September, the claimants have been stuck in Lwengo district following a sharp row stemming from their opposition to being subjected to DNA tests by the Police, which they accused of being biased.

Three relatives of Francis Ruhamyakaaka, one of the those murdered at Nakateeta Village Kisekka sub-county in Lwengo district have formally complained to Lwengo Resident District Commissioner over their condolence fees that went into the wrong hands.
The deceased has been identified as Jonathan Ssemwogere, a resident of Kyassonko village, Busubi parish, Kisekka sub-county. The incident happened today leaving the community members shocked.

Balikuddembe has withdrawn the petition citing a lack of enough evidence to sustain the petition. According to Balikuddembe, his petition was frustrated by a court ruling that denied him permission to submit additional evidence to support his complaints.
