Foot and Mouth Disease Hits Sironko

Dr. Okori says the disease was brought to district by an infected animal from Sebei region. He says the animal was dripping saliva and had raptured blisters in its mouth and feet. According to Dr. Okori, unless action is taken, more than 10,000 heads of cattle in the affected sub-counties could be infected in a short period of time.
