Four teachers at Kyohairwe primary school in Buhanika Sub County, Hoima district, have been suspended for allegedly instigating a violent strike at the school.
Ann Galiwango, the KCCA director for education told Uganda Radio Network that the authority plans to spend 200 million shillings for the installation of the conductors in all the government aided schools in the city.
The students claim that despite paying the internship fees to the university, they have been unable to access it despite the fact that their internship period is coming to an end.
She says that St James Primary school will remain closed until 2013 after the expansion of the Lubigi– Nsooba drainage channel which is expected to reduce on flooding in Bwaise.
