The High Court in Kampala has this afternoon ordered three NRM legislators to appear before the partyâ€™s National Disciplinary Committee and give their side of the story. On Thursday last week, the outspoken legislators dragged their party to court accusing it of hearing disciplinary proceedings against them without them being invited to give their side of the story.

A total of 19 Dodoth cattle rustlers have surrendered to Uganda Peoplesâ€™ Defence Forces (UPDF) in Kaabong district. The rustlers mainly from the Dodoth clan in Karamoja region have been living in South Sudan after they fled the country around 2007 at the height of the disarmament exercise.
The hunt is still on for 10 inmates who escaped from Kalisizo Central Government Prison on Monday. The incident happened at around 11am when the inmates were being escorted to Kalisizo court. Prison authorities say those who escaped include seven capital offenders and three minor offenders.
