In August 2011, the Foreign Affairs Parliamentary Committee received at least 42 complaints from a whistle blower who said there is a cult-like group at the ministry that frustrates other workers.

Subjects of Tooro King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV want him to take full charge of his Kingdom as he turns 21 years. The 12th king of Tooro, born on April 16th 1992, has been on the throne since September 1995 when he succeeded his father Patrick David Mathew Kaboyo Olimi III, who died in August of that year. Until 2010 when King Oyo turned 18 years, he governed the Kingdom through regents.
