Some residents of Kangai Sub County in Dokolo district want government to establish a University in the area to recognize their fallen ancestors who hosted anti-colonial Kings Kabalega and Mwanga. At the peak of the British war against Bunyoro, Omukama Kabalega of Bunyoro and Kabaka Mwanga of Buganda were forced to take refuge in Kangai Sub County around 1897 before they were captured on April 9th 1899 by British colonialists.
