Uganda Cranes first choice goalkeeper Dennis Onyango has said he is happy for a new challenge after signing with Bidvest Wits University on loan for one season this afternoon. The experienced shot stopper moved on loan from giant side Mamelodi Sundowns.
Uganda Cranes have landed an international friendly against African giants Egypt on August 14. The game will be played in the Coastal town of El Gouna, some 430km outside Cairo because of the security tensions in the Capital.
Defending champions Eastern, who are finding this year’s campaign tough, will face tricky side Mid North in one of the semi final ties, while in-form Buganda take on West Nile at 2pm. Buganda is the only team in the competition that has won all their three group games.
