Police in Napak district were on Saturday forced to use pepper spray to arrest a Sub County councillor for allegedly torturing his 10-year -old daughter into comma. Dominic Lori, a youth councillor at Iriir Sub County, was arrested after he allegedly tortured his daughter Sylivia Lomokori by hanging her upside down on a mango tree.
On Thursday, more than 200 pupils of the school located in Industrial Division stormed Mbale Central Police station protesting the arrest of their deputy head teacher, Jerry Kisewa Othieno, who is accused of beating and injuring a pupil of the school who later lost her eye.
