The goods include 80 cartons of cosmetics and 300 pieces of iron sheets. The goods were seized in a week-long operation in various markets within the city following complaints from the users that they dont conform to the UNBS standards.
Jackson Baryampika, Kitgum district Police commander identified the suspects as Joseph Kidega, Patrick Aboyi, Rooney Komakech, Michael Okot Tulaya and Isaac Okellokot. The suspects were found with items including stolen drugs, laundry soap and several household items.
