Dr Olara Otunnu, a member of a committee organizing the annual Janan Luwum day celebrations, says the family rejected the proposal to exhume the remains, saying they wont allow any further disturbance. Otunnu was on Monday addressing journalists in Gulu.
The committee was established by a resolution of Parliament calling for thorough investigations into the controversial payment of six billion Shillings to individuals who were involved a tax arbitration case between the Government of Uganda and Heritage Oil.

At least 23.3 billion Shillings is set aside for construction of valley tanks under the agriculture ministry while 67.4 billion Shillings is allocated under the Water ministry to construct a number of irrigation schemes.
