Three supporters of the ruling National Resistance Movement NRM are still admitted at Bukomansimbi Medical Centre after they were severely beaten for attempting to disrupt a consultative meeting convened by Veronicah Nanyondo, the District Woman MP.
The officers include Joel Aguma, the commander of the police Professional Standards Unit PSU and Nixon Agasirwe, the former commander of the Special Operations Unit. They were escorted the Makindye based court by Military Police personnel from Makindye military detention.
