The officers serving as part of the African Mission in Somalia- AMISOM were killed during an attempted attack on AMISOM Forward Operating Bases at Quoroyole, Buulo Mareer and Golwen in Lower Shabelle Region of Somalia.
According to Lt Col Deo Akiiki, UPDF lost four soldiers while six others escaped with minor injuries. He however, couldnt reveal the identities of the dead soldiers, but said the Mopping up operation continues.
