State Minister for Primary Education Rose Mary Nansubuga Sseninde observes that the neglected learning areas were integrated into the curriculum with an objective of arousing the pupils creativity and free expression and to equip them with skills that would enable them to survive in the world after school.

Members of the University Council and management were expected to appear before the committee yesterday, to respond to concerns about the state of affairs in the university. However, only the Vice Chancellor Prof Barnabas Nawangwe showed up and was turned away, with advice to come back with his team today, Wednesday.
According to the Ntoroko District Inspector of School DIS, Rev David Kibonwa, UNEB has also summoned the Chief Administrative Officer, Resident District Commissioner, Chairman LC V, District Education Officer and Invigilators.
In a statement released shortly after the meeting which ended at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the Council members resolved that matters relating to the suspension of staff any other matter concerning the governance of the university be handled in accordance with the laws, policies and procedures governing the University.
In an interview with URN, Nawangwe asserted that Kamunyu, Magara and Kalema should prepare to face the University Disciplinary Committee, as an opportunity to defend themselves against all charges against them.
