During the funeral, the Bwera Division Police Commander, Sadat Sabila told mourners that the Inspector General of Police, Martin Okoth Ochola had directed the force to contribute Shillings 5 million towards the burial expenses as investigations into the matter are ongoing.
Following the double flash floods that hit Kasese District early this month sweeping away infrastructure and most of the equipment’s of Kilembe Mines Hospital, the Kasese Catholic Diocese resolved to temporarily shift the facility to Kasese Town.
