Kalali, bitter that his signature was forged to mislead court that he had reached agreement with the EC, now wants court to set aside the contentious order such that prisoners can go ahead and vote in 2021 general elections
The matter was taken to court by lawyer Male Mabirizi, who accused him of falsifying documents to indicate that he was born in 1982, yet there is enough evidence, to show that he was born two years earlier. The falsified documents were used to secure a passport, and in his nomination as a parliamentary candidate.
Maate added that the suspect further told police that he murdered the four over land related wrangles between him and his parents, adding that the family gave him a piece of land on a steep slope where he couldn’t construct a house.
