Edward Kiwanuka, the Gulu City Town Clerk says that the fund will construct more than 7 roads in the City totalling 7.788 kilometres. The roads include Oola Lubaro road, Vincent Opiyo road, Francis Barabanawe road, Lakana Odongkara road, Onono road and Nelson Mandela road.
Dr. Richard Echodu, the Gulu University Laboratory Director told URN in an interview that the Laboratory is level two and that it shall be run by a total of 15 qualified staff who underwent COVID -19 testing training. He said three out of those staff hold PhD in Laboratory Technology.
The scheme located in Ayweri Village was constructed by the Ministry of Water and Environment to facilitate commercial farming among vulnerable households in Gulu district.
