On Tuesday, the Minister of Gender Labour and Social Development, Betty Amongi Akena whose ministry was tasked with identifying these vulnerable groups together with the Office of the Prime Minister has released a list of the beneficiaries.
The leaders indicate that mismanagement of government vehicles is a challenge that needs to be addressed by introducing very tough penalties to whoever uses them recklessly.
“I would expect them to work from their constituencies, because they should be at the top of campaigning against COVID-19 in their constituencies,” the Clerk to Parliament Jane Kibirige said.
