She posted 8:36:1 behind Venega Cancio Milena who won the cruise and Hung Wing Yan Winne who came second. The time was fifteen seconds below her personal best of 8:21.85 which she posted in the opening race.

NUP: Party MPs to Devote Vehicle Cash to Constituency Welfare mp vehicles 2 1

Out of the 529 Members of the Eleventh Parliament, NUP has 57 legislators hence forming the lead Opposition party in the House. On Tuesday this week, all the MPs received 200 million Shillings each from the parliament financial year 2021/2022 budget to purchase vehicles that are aimed at facilitating their travels to and from their constituencies.

This was after KCCA took over the market management following a September 2020 presidential directive to the Authority to repossess all markets and abattoirs which the president said were being mismanaged by private groups. KCCA effected the directive two months later in November 2020 abolishing the management structures set by the vendor group and instituting an interim committee that would work with KCCA.

Dismissed Senior Police Officer Awarded UXG10 Million for Violation of his Rights

ASP Mugarura told court that in 2012, while serving as the Officer in Charge OC Criminal Investigations Directorate-CID of Kabarole Police Station, he encountered a notorious criminal gang that was robbing people’s properties across Uganda and started off an operation to have it investigated and brought before the law, but was instead being obstructed by his superiors who were in connivance with the criminals.
