Pastor Kayanja took the stand as the 13th prosecution witness, recounting how he met with the accused persons who were part of the group he described as Kifeesi. Kifeesi was a notorious criminal gang full of youth terrorizing City dwellers.
“So far we have three suspects, among them there is one who was arrested and was found sleeping under the bridge of the flyover, near the crime scene. He has led us to other two of his colleagues over the weekend,” Owoyesigyire said.

According to Rogers Taitika, the Elgon Region police spokesperson, it is alleged that Agatha was crossing the Kapchorwa-Nabongo road after fetching water when the speeding Land Cruiser from Kapchorwa knocked her down killing her on the spot.
Taitika explained that Cheropu fell ill on Monday of last week, and after being called by the school, her mother took her to Elgon Hospital, where she died shortly after being admitted.
