Dr Robert Ojala, the Senior Veterinary Inspector in charge of North Eastern Uganda told the City and district leaders that the Ministry had decided to repossess the land and will be used as a quarantine station for Teso Sub Region.

Nalongo Jennifer who was found with her family boarding a small wooden boat from Pallisa crossing to Kaliro district to attend a burial said that the journey has become very expensive to them as they have to pay twice on both sides.
