Uganda is to host over 2000 African immigrants that will be expelled from Israel, an online news agency in the Middle Eastern nation has reported. But the Uganda government denies that such a deal was signed. David Kazungu, the Director for Refugees in the Office of the Prime Minister, says such a deal would be a violation of key international agreements to which the Ugandan government is party.
Two people are confirmed dead after they reportedly ate Fox meat in Kyangwali Sub County, Hoima district. Joseph Opio and Expedito Tumusiime, all residents of Ngurwe village in Kasonga parish, died on Wednesday, just a day after the meat.

The Uganda Law Society (ULS) has unanimously agreed to challenge the reappointment of retired Chief Justice Benjamin Odoki in court if Parliament vets him. A member of ULS Bruce Kyerere filed a petition that was discussed at the societyâ€™s extraordinary general meeting.
The petitioners as background of their petition cite the opinion that Nyombi gave to President Museveni over the reappointment of Odoki which contravenes article 144 of the Constitution. They also say that the Attorney General misled Museveni by saying that the recently appointed Minister for Internal Affairs Aronda Nyakairima can serve as minister while still serving in the army.
