The scheme funded by the World Bank under the Agriculture cluster development Project is intended to benefit 704 households in Turdakatuba, and Ogali villages in Amuru Sub-county and Ayila village in Guruguru Sub-county.
The Ministry with support from the World Bank through the Uganda Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfer Program (UgIFT) disbursed over 1.7 Billion Shillings to Luwero district and 1.03 billion Shillings to Nakaseke under the Micro-scale Irrigation Program.
On Tuesday, Dr Jane Egau Okou, the Director of Higher, Technical, Vocational Education and Training launched the construction of an additional six lecture rooms worth Shilling 1.3 billion. The construction undertaken by Vambeco Enterprises Limited will be completed in four months.

The 110 dealers working under the Agriculture Cluster Development Project – ACDP were contracted to supply inputs that include maize, beans, cassava, rice and coffee to over 10 districts across the country.
