Dr. Anna Rose Ademun Okurut, who is in-charge of Animal Health says that many Veterinary officers tend to work like witch doctors rather than professionals by treating animals without proper investigations of the causes of diseases in animals and environment where they live.
Henry Baite, the Human Resource Officer SR Afro Chicks and Breeders Limited, says even at the current prices, they can only distribute less than 2,500 trays of eggs per day. Baite says they are currently stuck with over 3000 trays of eggs, which they have failed to sale that has plunged the farm into huge losses.

Ishahak Mugema, the Luweero District Male Youth Councilor, says some nursery bed operators used money from the Youths Livelihood Programme to start their nurseries, adding that the failure to buy their seedlings means they wont be able to service the loan.
