Entebbe Surgical Hospital Operates 300 Children in Five months 6 3

Among the 300 beneficiaries is 2-year-old Raymond Lujja. Lujja battled with difficult urination for more than one year because he had a blocked urethra. He explains that the hospital has so far received 1,000 children since it opened on April 15. Of these, 300 children have undergone surgeries. These surgeries were all successful, Menaldo emphasizes.

Alfred Besigensi, acting Kabale District Health Officer confirms that they had projected to get 5,860 HIV victims but they were shocked when the number of victims went beyond up to 8,921, 52% more that was expected. However on a positive note, 99.9999% of them are already on ARV therapy.
