Speaking at Kololo Independence Grounds at the national day of mourning, Museveni said that it is difficult to understand how Lwanga could die of a condition that was well-known for long by his doctors.
Dr. Epodoi and the team of 14 other medics performed a historic surgery on March 26th, 2021 after successfully separating a conjoined live twin from the dead sister. The deceased twin had taken six days and was decomposing by the time of the operation.
The deceased has been identified as Joseph Osire while those in the hospital are the deceased’s wife Matilidah Angege 55, their son Charles Awoja and Christine Apio. They are all residents of Kidongole village, Kidongole Sub County.
Rubbishing claims that the money couldn’t be accounted for, Atwiine said part of the money will be used to set up hotel structures at border points which will serve as health worker accommodation facilities and that some of the money will be used to construct blood banks in Arua and Soroti districts.
