Dr. Felix Kaduchu, the Dean Faculty of Medicine at Gulu University told URN in an interview on Tuesday evening that some students tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. “We have not forced them to take the vaccination but they realized that some of their colleagues had tested positive with the virus and decided to embrace the exercise,” Dr. Kaduchu explained.
Irene Laker, a board member of Gulu Union for Persons with Disabilities revealed in an interview that the office receives at least 3 cases of the women testing positive with the infection on a daily basis.
Michael Ochwoo, the Manager of TASO Gulu Care Centre, says that many of the people living with HIV lack food to keep them on treatment. He says that while the Centre managed to enrol back 200 people who abandoned ARVs, 35 of them died due to adherence issues.

An official at Gulu Regional Referral Hospital told URN on condition of anonymity that there are often between 3 to 4 unclaimed bodies at the facility each month. Dr. David Tibwamanya, the Principal Administrator Gulu Regional Referral Hospital, says that always hand such bodies to Gulu City Council after waiting for their relatives to claim them in vain.

It is believed the malaria she suffered from led to the pre –mature delivery.
Nairobi Onyuta, a farmer who lost all his pigs to the strange disease says that three more pigs belonging to his neighbours died over the weekend after contracting the disease whose cause is still a mystery to them.
