Rosemary Seninde, the minister of State for Primary Education says that schools need to ensure the safety of learners around water because most accidents that take place involving learners and swimming pools are as result of negligence of schools
It is estimated that there are over 1 million people with hearing impairments in Uganda. But less than 500,000 of them are able to receive services in hospitals, schools, police stations and local governments due to language barriers.
“Democracy grows and becomes resilient only once it is truly owned by citizens,” said Ambassador Attilio Pacifici, ahead of the international democracy day commemoration for 2019 for the European Union Delegation to Uganda slated for Thursday, September 19.
