Sam Kigula the LC 5 Chairperson of Nakasongola says that the district expects flood re-occurrence any time as rains start and that the funds will be used mainly by the committee to carry out assessments in case floods occur, and report to Office of the Prime Minister for support.
The atlas compiled with the assistance of the UNDP country office provides data on various disasters the country is facing indicating vulnerability of various communities and offering recommendations to enhance resilience of these communities.
