George Odeke, a resident of Kokong Village in Kapir Sub County discovered the tunnels while digging a pit latrine in his home about three weeks ago. The existence of the mysterious tunnels was exposed through social media on Sunday evening.
The tunnels spread in three different directions were discovered by Justine Okello who was digging a pit at the depth of 8.5 feet. One of the tunnels is wide, approximately 100 meters wide while others are narrow channels measuring less than 100-meter-long but covered with marram.
