Kabale Pastor, 8 Followers Arrested for Holding Prayers 5 2

Pastor Festo Kasooka, a resident of Kinyingusi village in Kabale Municipality was arrested on Sunday afternoon while holding prayers with more than 20 followers in the home of Judith Ahimisiwe, a resident of Rushambya village in Northern division. The followers all subscribe to Revival Tabernacle Church headed by Bishop Johnson Bakashaba.

Dr Adam Mugume Appointed Acting Deputy BOU Governor

Mugume will carryout duties that were being done by Dr Louis Kasekende, whose contract expired in January and was not renewed. Mugume who has been working as the executive director for research, previously headed the modeling division between 2007 and 2010. He holds a PhD from Oxford University, UK, and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Botswana.
