Sylvia Namubiru, the Executive Director LASPNET, says they came up with the application because of the rampant cases of corruption in the country, adding that she hopes the app will help reduce corruption tendencies experienced by members of the public.
Dr Rukuunya says the court that currently sits only in Kampala, will try various fisheries crimes like illegal fishing methods, use of illegal fishing gear, catching and trading in undersized fish, pollution of lakes and other related crimes.
