In his ruling on the interim injunction on Thursday, Justice Wilson Masalu Musene said that since electoral activities are on-going, the nomination of candidates may continue provided that the Electoral Commission doesn't alter the boundaries.
The accused is a Medical Representative at JMS and was on Thursday arraigned before the Kampala Anti-Corruption Court Grade One Magistrate Sarah Namusobya Mutebi, charged with one count of embezzlement and two others of forgery.
Most of the convicted persons were arrested in January but had not yet faced trial when the coronavirus pandemic hit the country in March. They have since been on remand, until today, when they appeared before Isingiro Grade One Magistrate Hillary Murangira.
