Kateebire was arrested by police on Tuesday for allegedly inciting violence. According to Police, Kateebire was organizing a group of Boda Boda riders to conduct a procession through Kabale town to celebrate the nomination of NUP presidential flag bearer, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine.
He ordered that all the monies will attract a ten percent interest per annum effective today when the Judgement has been delivered until payment in full.
Kaweesi was arrested after he was found in possession of a stolen car, a white Spacio number UAV 869M belonging to Madhusi Olubora at a garage in Ndeeba.
"Also, at 27 years of age, there is hope that the convict can reform," Justice Kwesiga added.
The court which is trying Makumbi for the cruel murder of a one and a half year-old girl had to stop for over an hour after his lawyer stormed out during the trial.
"Even though there is hope that Abeine can reform after serving this jail sentence, aggravated defilement is now rampant in Uganda, so I sentence him to 20 years because we must protect girls," Justice Kwesiga said.
In his suit, Arnold Anthony Mukose argues that Twinemanzi is not fit to be in that position due to lack of experience in commercial banking, which is one of the key requirements for the job.
In their notice of appeal filed on Wednesday, the applicants through their lawyers of Byamukama, Kaboneka and Company Advocates contend that they are dissatisfied with the entire ruling. According to the notice, the two have requested certified copies of proceedings and rules to enable them to formulate their grounds of appeal.
