The trio has been in court for having allowed the inclusion of unauthorized cargo on a plane chartered by Bank of Uganda on its way between France, Belgium and Entebbe International Airport on April 26 2019.
Court heard that between July 2018 and July 2019 at Ibanda being employed as Senior Treasurer Ishongororo Town Council Ibanda Local Government, Nimusiima stole 28,976,300 shillings. According to the prosecution, Nimusiima accessed the money which he received as local revenue for the Town Council by virtue of his office.
