During the hearing at Kabale High Court Mutabazi’s lawyer, Akram Matovu asked the court to summon top officials from the Ministry of Education and Sports, National Council for Higher Education to appear before the court to defend the legitimacy of Bizimana’s academic credentials.
Turyamuhweza petitioned the court saying that there was voter bribery and ballot stuffing. He also accused Muhwezi of conniving with security officials in the district to intimidate and chase away his agents and supporters from polling stations on polling day.
